Mr Damon Simmons is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon working at University Hospitals Aintree NHS Foundation in Liverpool, UK since 2006.
He trained in Orthopaedic Surgery in Birmingham and Liverpool before being awarded his Certificate of Specialist Training in 2006.
He was awarded the Penrose May Surgical Prize from the Royal College of Surgeons in England during his training.
He underwent a Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery with Mr N Geary, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Wirral University Teaching Hospital to complete his specialist training.
His surgical interests are Knee, Foot and Ankle Surgery. He performs soft tissue ligament reconstruction, primary and revision joint replacement and sports injury surgery of the knee,foot and ankle.
He has a medicolegal practice including clinical negligence and personal injury. His specialisms are knee, foot and ankle surgery including all aspects of trauma.
He has rooms in Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, London, Crewe, Warrington, Preston, Bolton, Newcastle -under-Lyme and North Wales – Wrexham and Chester.
His personal interests include a variety of outdoor pursuits. He spends his free time with his wife and two young children mountain biking, hill walking and rock climbing. He enjoys music of all genres and regularly attends music concerts. He is a big fan of world cinema.
